To spark media coverage (and sales) for the January launch of "Zero Visibility," Maccabee Group carved Governor Jesse Ventura's face out of 5,000 pounds of Kemps Ice Cream. The Ventura ice cream sculpture event generated media coverage for Kemps on all four local TV stations, in both daily newspapers, and even in Time magazine and CNN-TV worldwide.

Yes, the PR campaign received "Most Creative News Stunt in America" and "Best Special Event/Promotion of the Year" awards. But, most importantly, the Jesse Sculpture event helped sell out Kemps Ice Cream's entire stock of its new product!
