Gwen Chynoweth, Vice President


With 23 years experience in corporate communications and public relations, Gwen leads our Thomson Reuters/West Professional Development PR team. She has helmed marketing programs for Go Organic for Earth Day, PLATO Learning, Carlson Companies, CIGNA Behavioral Health, International Decision Systems, The National Theatre for Children, Metropolitan State University, Architectural Alliance, and General Mills. Gwen created our Kemps Milk “Nickels for Schools” loyalty marketing campaign and supervised our “Keeping Sexual Intimacy Alive” blitz for American Medical Systems, featuring sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer. Prior to joining Maccabee Group, Gwen served as Corporate Communications Manager for NEXUS, communications manager for the Hopkins School system and Community Relations Liason with the Rochester School system. As a feature writer for an Iowa newspaper, Gwen chased after buffalo, walked into a giant beehive, was bitten by rescued raccoons and learned about master hog farming. She is the only Maccabee Group employee who can whistle songs through a blade of grass.
