What's a Maccabee?

Our brand public relations firm is named after the Maccabees, a small guerrilla band of warriors in 167 BCE who defeated Syria and came very close to defeating the vast armies of Rome.

"Maccabee" means "sledgehammer" in Aramaic, in honor of the ancient Maccabees' valor in battle against far larger forces.

So too, Maccabee Group has helped clients prepare to vanquish competitors and emotionally engage consumers by using the power of public relations to drive brand awareness and achieve mission-critical business objectives. Ready to wield the sledgehammer of Maccabee Group against your competitors?

TESTIMONIAL:

"I've had the pleasure of working with the Maccabee Group team while at two of their clients - Caribou Coffee and Angie's Kettle Corn. Even though both brands' needs were very distinct, the commonality was that Maccabee Group took the time to fully understand our brand objectives and key selling points - and then delivered extremely creative approaches. It's not just about their crazy PR ideas. It's about Maccabee Group's ability to successfully implement those crazy ideas."
- Steve Vuolo, former Senior Director Of Marketing for Caribou Coffee; University of St. Thomas Marketing Instructor
